· Financial administration functions: bookkeeping; review and process invoices/expenses; monitor equipment use for Cal-Trans grant compliance; audit department and consumer financial accounts/records; prepare financial reports as needed; cash management; Medi-Cal and consumer billing


· Human resource functions: ensure compliance to regulations, labor laws, and personnel policies/procedures; maintain documentation; promote employee retention and satisfaction; conduct interviews and clearance checks; select, hire and terminate employees; conduct performance evaluations; direct and coordinate activities of support staff; oversee payroll; address benefits issues; conduct staff meetings; prepare reports/minutes; address human resources and conflict resolution issues; conduct employee orientations and training; process workers’ compensation claims; conduct investigations; analyze data to identify trends and implement corrective measures; chair department’s safety committee; create, coordinate, and oversee volunteer projects; maintain rapport with employees to foster open communication


· Office management functions: create and oversee office operations systems; automate and streamline office systems to increase effectiveness; assess office needs and implement effective solutions; purchase supplies and equipment; create internal and community-oriented publications; promote effective management of and communications with off-site locations/staff; provide program, procedure, and resource information to stakeholders; coordinate travel arrangements; ensure that proof of 501(c)(3) compliance is available for public view upon request; oversee general clerical and administrative functions


· Operations management functions: serve as on-call supervisor on rotating basis; monitor facility inspections/tests/drills and maintain records to ensure compliance; ensure facilities and staff operations are in compliance with state and federal regulations; report allegations of abuse or misconduct to appropriate agencies and support investigation process; oversee and maintain vehicle fleet; coordinate emergency staffing for off-site facilities; create and implement flexible solutions to immediate and pressing operations issues
